Part 1: Wedding ceremony

The wedding ceremony will be held at Monastery Beach that gets its name from the Carmelite Monastery Mission nearby. There is limited but convenient parking along the shoulder of Highway 1 right at the beach. A restroom is located at the southern end of the beach and there is a Starbucks Store at Rio Rd about one mile to the North. Spring may feel breezy on the Pacific Ocean, so take an extra jacket to stay comfortable and warm.
Part 2: Wedding reception

The wedding reception, immediately following the ceremony, will be held at Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Center. While driving from the Monastery Beach for about a mile you will make a right turn on Carmel Valley Road and proceed for one mile, turn right onto a private road after second stop light/Middle School, slow down and continue into the old golf course entrance, park in any unreserved space and come to the main double doors to find Merienda Room entry inside the courtyard.
